WHAT IS RISE
The RISE Initiative is a proactive wellness initiative designed to support first responders, academy recruits, and frontline professionals through guided journaling tools, resilience-focused workshops, and meaningful community partnerships.
Created to encourage healthy reflection, emotional decompression, and resilience before crisis occurs, RISE helps expand access to proactive wellness support for the people who serve our communities every day.

WHY IT MATTERS
First responders often carry high levels of stress, responsibility, and emotional pressure both on and off duty. The RISE Initiative was created to help encourage healthier ways to process stress, decompress emotionally, and strengthen resilience before years of emotional pressure take a lasting toll.
When first responders are supported as people and not just professionals, the communities they serve can benefit too. Healthier reflection and resilience habits may help support calmer reactions during emergency calls, more patient communication during difficult situations, greater compassion when responding to people in crisis, and healthier interactions with the public both on scene and throughout the community.
